Welcome to One Classroom in Philadelphia. I teach eleventh-graders history and English at Science Leadership Academy (CC). I teach undergraduates about Urban Education in the Urban Studies Department at Penn.

Like most teachers, my students do excellent things every day. I need a place to keep track of that.

Like most teachers, I’m always thinking about what to do next and engaging in near constant curricular creation and revision. I need a place to keep track of that.

Like most teachers, I wish I could have more contact with my parents. I hope this can be a place where they can get a deeper glimpse into the classroom where their kids are doing such cool things.

Like most teachers, I need to be writing more. If this site can help me with that, and maybe build a little community, and maybe raise some book money, that’d be a good thing.
